Presuming Competence

Changing Our Perspective

The world of autism is filled with questions — from what to do after a diagnosis, to real-time strategies for daily life, and how to strengthen and nurture relationships within the family unit. Whatever you're seeking, my hope is that you'll feel encouraged to reach out for support — whether it's something you know you need, or something you haven’t yet realized you do.

From Professional Insight to Personal Understanding

I'm a dedicated parent coach with experience working across diverse settings and with a wide range of populations. Throughout my career, I've been driven by a deep belief in the potential of every parent. There's nothing more rewarding than witnessing people grow into the parents they were meant to be—confident, connected, and empowered.

Walking the Path as Both a Professional and a Parent

My parenting journey has taken me a lot of places. I’ve been blessed with a personal journey that deepened my understanding even further—my own son was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. While my work with families had prepared me in many ways, nothing truly equips you for the shift from professional to parent.

My son has been one of my greatest teachers. He challenges me daily (literally—LOL!) and keeps me, my husband, and our other children constantly on our toes. I now know firsthand what it means to rearrange your life to support and advocate for a child with Autism. This personal perspective has strengthened my empathy, deepened my commitment, and allowed me to walk alongside families not just as a professional, but as someone who truly understands the journey.

Rooted in Empathy, Growth, and Connection

My approach combines empathy, humor, evidence-based practices, and a genuine passion for family well-being.I approach parent coaching with the belief that growth is always possible. In my work, I don’t use words like “can’t” or “won’t” when talking about ability. Instead, I say “not yet” or “getting close,” because I believe in the power of progress, no matter how small. Whether working with new parents, families in crisis, or caregivers navigating complex needs, I focus on building confidence, uncovering strengths, and supporting each parent on their unique journey to becoming who they’re meant to be. My work with young children, especially those with special needs, continues to fuel my passion for guiding families toward growth and connection.

Parenting can feel lonely sometimes — especially when you're raising a child with special needs.
While others are out at the zoo or having carefree park lunches, you're planning for sensory overload, public meltdowns, and how to avoid it all.

It’s not the same path — but it’s no less full of love.
You’re not alone. And you’re doing an incredible job. 💛
